Launched in July 2024 by NUS Libraries, Temasek Foundation, and the National Heritage Board, TF-NUS Heritage Champions invites students from institutions of higher learning to explore Singapore’s built, social, and cultural heritage. Through collaboration, teams will develop innovative solutions for heritage engagement, competing for top spots and funding to bring their ideas to life.
Deliverables:
- Develop a dedicated microsite to showcase the programme.
- Design engaging social media content for both organic and paid campaigns.
- Create digital communication collaterals, including EDMs and promotional web banners for various NUS platforms.
Bridging the Past and the Present
The design concept centres on the idea of connecting our rich heritage with its dynamic, modern landscape. This contrast between the past and present is reflected in the visual style—a fusion of historical textures and contemporary graphic elements. The colour palette balances earthy, nostalgic tones with vibrant, modern hues, reinforcing the theme of tradition meeting innovation. Typography blends classic serif fonts with clean sans-serif typefaces, creating a sense of timelessness while ensuring clarity and accessibility across digital platforms - the main means of communication for the marketing campaign.
By visually linking history with the present, the design supports the programme’s mission—to engage young minds in reimagining heritage through innovation through the use of digital tools to create immersive experiences and collaboration.
