Every year, SIM holds up to 10 graduation ceremonies with its education partners. To ensure that the SIM corporate identity is consistently portrayed throughout these ceremonies, a visual identity system is created every two years.
The 2016/17 design was created with the theme 'Global Edge Graduate'. The theme was inspired by graduation ceremonies of university partners at their home campuses, which often feature scenes of celebration and pride, with event venues lined with huge banners bearing the universities' logos. The 'Global Edge Graduate' concept was built on the respective corporate colours of SIM and its partner universities, pieced together through the use of geometrical triangles.
In order to ensure consistency across all ten graduation events, SIM worked closely with university partners to apply the visual identity for SIM Graduations 2016/17. The visual identity system provided a cohesive look and feel for the graduation ceremonies, making them memorable and exciting for the graduates and their families. It also helped to reinforce the partnership between SIM and its education partners, showcasing the successful collaborations between the two organisations. Overall, the visual identity system was a key part of the SIM Graduation experience, providing a consistent and professional branding across all of SIM's education partners.
